    Blended-Learning: the Responses From Non-English Students in the Indonesian Tertiary Context

    The process of language teaching and learning has undergone major changes due to the developments of technology. The use of technology in education field has paved the way for higher education institution to innovatively shape their modern media in a language teaching and learning. Subsequently, the implementation of blended-learning has aroused at the Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia for approximately one and a half year ago to maximize the use of technology. Most lecturers in all study programs have increasingly utilized the social network sites such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. for the successfulness of blended-learning. This present study aims at exploring the students' responses on how blended-learning might be used to develop their language learning and discovering their attitudes towards the implementation of blended-learning as an interactional teaching and learning tool in English for Business course. Employing a qualitative in form of a case study, eighty-two undergraduate students from study program of Informatics Engineering were observed, interviewed, and distributed questionnaires. The data were performed to collect the students' responses and students' attitudes toward the implementation of blended-learning in the process of their language learning. The findings were found out that most students from Informatics Engineering major showed their positive responses and positive attitudes using blended learning for the language teaching and learning. They also gained some educational benefits for their English language development. Thus, this blended learning brings us to the new trend for language teaching and learning media in order to motivate the students in enhancing their language acquisition

    Kemampuan sains anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Tri Bina masih rendah, ini disebabkan kurangnya variasi metode pembelajaran sains, sehingga anak merasa bosan dan tidak tertarik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sains anak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek peneliti pada anak kelompok B yang berjumlah 20 orang. Pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, hasil penelitian diolah dengan teknik persentase yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II

    . Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran induktif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa dan yang menjadi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-1 yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Tes yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis yang berbentuk tes uraian sebanyak 10 soal sedangkan observasi digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang aktivitas belajar siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran Induktif. Pada penelitian ini analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistic parametik korelasi product momen. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan software SPSS. Prosedur dimulai dengan memasukan variable-variabel penelitian yaitu variabel X dan variabel Y. Dari hasil uji analisis tersebut diperoleh rata-rata dan standart deviasi untuk hasil belajar matematika siswa (Y) adalah 80,86 dan 10,73 sedangkan untuk aktivitas siswa diperoleh rata-rata dan standart deviasi (X) adalah 4,041 dan 0,516 Uji normalitas pada penelitian ini adalah berdistibusi normal dengan Lhitung ttabel = 18,83 > 2,048 dan signifikansi Ftabel = 354,603 > 4,20. Dari hasil koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai R-Square yaitu 0,915 atau 91,5%. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa aktivitas siswa dengan menggunakan pendekatan pembelajaran Induktif berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan Kab.Labuhan Batu Tahun Pelajaran 2012/2013

Result observationaling to point out that, First : Hotel dwelling zoom having for dont signifikan to Region Original Income Moorland City with appreciative coefficient as big as 0,55, assess this coefficient not signifikan because t little computing of t table. Both of : Total tourist having for positive and signifikan to Regions Original Income Moorland City with appreciative coefficient as big as 0,399, assess this coefficient signifikan because t computing outgrows of t table. Third : Total wisatas object having for positive and signifikan to Regions Original Income Moorland City with coefficient point as big as 2339,917, assess this coefficient signifikan because t computing outgrows of t table. Fourth : Point tests f as big as 107,166 by level signifikan 0,00, this signifikans point lies far under 0,05 so concluded that variable third signifikans ascendant to Regions Original Income Moorland City. Assess determinant coefficient (R 2 ) pointing out point r 2 ( R square ) as big as 0,98, it means 98% predict Region Original Incomes can third word independent variables, Meanwhile its rest 2% regarded by unanalyzed other variable

    The purpose of this study was to clarify the effect, directly or indirectly, from brand trust variables consisting of Characteristics Brand, Company Characteristics, Characteristics of Consumer-Brand and Brand Loyalty for Mobile Nokia on S1 Student Department of Business Administration Faculty of Administrative Science Year Force 2009/2010. This type of research is the study explanation (explanatory research). Data collection method used is to spread out questionnaires to students S1 Department of Business Administration Faculty of Administrative Science Force Year 2009/2010 which uses mobile phones Nokia as much as 102 respondents, the sampling technique is simple random sampling. Based on the results of the study showed that the variables comprising Brand Trust Brand Characteristics (X1), the Company Characteristics (X2), Characteristics of Consumer-Brand (X3) have a positive effect on the variable level of brand loyalty. It can be used as a form of information for PT. Nokia to be able to maintain and develop a brand that has been built Belief, increasing consumer confidence in the brand then the higher the customer loyalty to the brand
